Born in Annapolis, MD in 1977, Jason spent his youth working various jobs on Annapolis’s famous City Dock, most of which found him behind the bar at a number of popular pubs.
These days, by trade he is a coin dealer specializing in early American coins and paper money as well as gold, silver, and platinum. He has been writing for as long as he can remember and has been fortunate enough to have numerous publication credits to his name.
Many of these published pieces are available to read here on the site so please feel free to explore the “Publications” page. Jason’s poetry has appeared in a number of online and print journals as well as select year-end “best of” anthologies.
Jason attended the University of Baltimore where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Forensic studies. In 2012, he bought a nearly 200-year-old home in south Baltimore in the tiny but historic neighborhood of Federal Hill, overlooking the famous Inner Harbor. He is a die hard fan of the hometown Baltimore Ravens, Baltimore Orioles, and Washington Capitals.
He loves to travel, is a horror movie junkie, can speak (kind of) German and can play (also, kind of) the guitar. He has an affinity for all things 80′s and 90′s, especially the music, and he is a pretty decent freeze tag player.
